Senior Project Manager Role

Cook Shire Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-impact municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning to delivery and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage civil infrastructure projects across the Shire.
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes.
  • Provide strong contract administration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare project documentation, risk assessments, and reports.
  • Mentor and lead a small project team to deliver outstanding results.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven senior-level project delivery experience.
  • Strong contract management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in collaborative team environments.
  • Current QLD C Class Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
