About the Role

As a seasoned electrical engineer, you will lead small to medium-sized design projects while ensuring best practices and cost optimization. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes for clients across various sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Design Expertise: Provide electrical design leadership on single and multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in transport, commercial, education, and defence sectors.
  • Project Leadership: Lead engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective delivery.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear communication with external clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers, to ensure project success.
  • Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients without compromising quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
  • Strong expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
  • 6 to 10+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple concurrent projects across various sectors;
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Capacity to lead, train, and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects;
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes;
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP (advantageous).
