Job Title: Integrated Logistics/Product Manager
This role is critical to the success of a Land project. The position involves providing management and integrated logistics support to ensure effective execution of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning the ILS Program, including developing ILS strategies, concepts, and workforce plans.
- Provide ILS specialist advice for analysis, definition, and planning of project execution.
- Oversight, management, and delivery of ILS artefacts, including ILSC, ILSP, ILSI, ILS, and support contract SOW and DIDs and DSDs and FMS documentation.
- Provision of SME advice to review contract deliverables, including TETP, RPIL, RPL, MRSL.
- Contribution to input/review of technical data in the form of drawings, illustrations, specifications, handbooks, manuals, instructions.
- Provision of SME materiel sustainment advice to higher management and technical reviews.
- Provide technical advice to Engineering Change Proposals and RODUMs in accordance with the Technical Regulatory Framework.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ILS activities are appropriately managed.
- Inventory Management support utilising MILIS skills.
- Support inventory & supply support tasks as required, including submission of codification requests to the National Codification Bureau (NCB), receipt and issue of stock, inventory movement between accounts, and conduct MILIS transactions.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- A suitably qualified ILS Professional with a minimum of 7+ years' experience within Defence or a related industry, particularly on Land projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Defence Logistics systems, tools, and processes.
- General familiarity with land vehicle systems (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle (advantageous).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
