Cafe Supervisor Job Opportunity

The Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre is a modern recreation facility located in Traralgon, Victoria. It features a gym, group fitness rooms, an indoor 50m pool, outdoor 25m pool, indoor warm water pool, designated learn-to-swim pool, spa, sauna, steam room, two large water slides, and an aqua playground, as well as an on-site cafe.

We are seeking a Cafe Supervisor with strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar facility or role, as well as excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting a small team to deliver a diverse range of food and beverage services. Your duties will include maintaining high service standards, overseeing daily operations and administration, including stock management and ordering, and ensuring the financial success and ongoing viability of the cafe.

  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
  • Excellent computer skills and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
