We are seeking skilled and motivated civil workers to join our team for road upgrade projects. As a key member of our construction crew, you will play a crucial role in the construction and improvement of roads, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality results.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plans accurately.
  • Perform tasks related to checking and maintaining appropriate levels during the construction process.
  • Operate whacker plates effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with paving preparation tasks, including grading and compacting surfaces.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment regularly, reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Operate machinery such as excavators, rollers, and skid steers, as required and when holding the relevant machinery tickets.
  • Transport materials safely using an MR truck when possessing a valid license.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a civil worker in road construction or similar field.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
  • Knowledge and experience in checking and maintaining levels during construction.
  • Proficiency in operating whacker plates and performing paving preparation tasks.
  • Holding machinery tickets for excavators, rollers, and skid steers is highly advantageous.
  • Valid MR truck license for material transportation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
