Job Title: Road Maintenance Technician

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors and being physically active. As a Road Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the city's road network, ensuring it remains safe and accessible for residents and visitors.

The job involves a range of tasks including minor road repairs, maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads, and operation of equipment such as the FLOCON for pothole and patching work.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on road infrastructure, including sealing cracks and repairing potholes.
  • Operating heavy machinery such as Front-End Loaders to assist with stormwater maintenance and cleaning pipes and open drains.
  • Installing and maintaining road signage and pavement markings.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence.
  • A Front-End Loader ticket.
  • Experience or qualifications in civil construction or road maintenance, or a strong willingness to learn on the job.
