Job Description

Spray sealing operations are a specialized process that involves applying a layer of bitumen to road surfaces using advanced machinery.

As a Bitumen Sprayer Operator, you will play a vital role in our team responsible for delivering high-quality spray sealing services to clients across South Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate heavy mobile plant equipment and machinery to apply coatings to road surfaces.
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with others to meet project timelines and deliver results-driven outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • A current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence minimum.
  • Experience as a Bitumen Sprayer Truck Driver or in Bitumen Haulage preferred.
  • A current Dangerous Goods Drivers licence or the ability to successfully complete training and medicals to acquire.
  • A current working safely with bitumen training.
  • A current General Construction Induction card.
  • Proven ability in operating mobile plant machinery and equipment, particularly within the bituminous surfacing industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in bituminous surfacing or civil construction industry ideal, a trade or mechanical background advantageous.
