Job Opportunity: Clinical Service Provider

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled clinician to provide clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65 across various age groups and presentations. The ideal candidate will form close bonds with clients, celebrate their achievements, and work collaboratively to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and observations to identify challenging behaviours, develop strategies to increase skills and emotion regulation, and introduce replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to create Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments, focusing on improving quality of life and enhancing independence.
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions across the lifespan, addressing diverse client needs within the NDIS Psychology services.

Key Requirements:

  1. Current NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or willingness to become registered.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, BCBA, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing.
  3. Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and complex diagnoses is desirable.
  4. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  5. Compliance with National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain before commencement.
