Role Description

The role of Pricing and Cost Analysis Manager within the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Systems Division involves strategic financial management and analysis. As a key member of the GWEO Air Branch, this position plays a crucial role in supporting the division's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the program's operating budget model and resolve issues to contribute to best practice and continuous improvement of processes related to finance.
  • Prepare and review briefs, reports, and other correspondence on financial compliance matters.
  • Analyse and evaluate cost estimates and advise senior management to support the decision-making process.

Our Team

The GWEO Air Branch is an integral part of the GWEO Systems Division, which forms part of the new GWEO Group. Our team comprises various disciplines, including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services. We are located in ACT, NSW, and QLD, with a focus on acquiring and sustaining guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.

Branch Overview

The GWEO Air Branch comprises over 180 dedicated employees performing activities such as requirements setting; contracting; procurement; international logistics; item management and maintenance, and co-ordination of disposal. Our branch partners with domestic and international industry to deliver materiel capability to Defence, managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of complex, high-profile acquisitions and sustainment activities to support the ADF.
