Key Role

The Pricing Economist is accountable for delivering insightful reporting and analysis to drive value and support decision-making for optimal pricing and revenue outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide economic pricing and revenue analysis to inform regulatory pricing strategies and models.
  • Assist in implementing new pricing strategies and analyse revenue and pricing data.
  • Research and analyse data to make informed decisions about pursuing pricing opportunities.
  • Communicate the value of various regulatory pricing strategies and models to internal stakeholders.
Core Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in economics, finance or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in pricing or regulatory economics roles with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach.
  • Proven experience in economic and financial analysis, ideally within regulatory pricing.
  • Strong modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Security Clearance Requirements

To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident as an Airservices Background check is required for this role.
