Role Overview

A permanent full-time position for a Fabrication Teacher within a reputable education and training organisation in South East Melbourne. This role is ideal for a Fabrication Teacher interested in working for a well-established organisation and providing teaching and vocational expertise related to fabrication, boilermaking, and mechanical areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering planned teaching sessions
  • Utilising technology, including Moodle, to engage learners
  • Ensuring that learning materials and resources meet regulatory standards
  • Improving the quality of teaching and learning through a student-centred approach
  • Contributing to business development activities
  • Completing workplace visits during workplace/clinical placements

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
  • Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent
  • Prior teaching experience or interest in becoming a teacher
  • Registration with relevant professional associations
  • Vocational experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team
