Vocational Education Instructor

Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a skilled and experienced Casual VE Teacher to join our Trades & Engineering Technologies team. As a Casual VE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training programs to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Implement industry best practice and apply current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team of education professionals to plan, deliver, assess, evaluate, and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs.
- Customize and adapt programs to meet the needs of learners and clients, ranging from certificate to diploma and associate degree levels.
- Vocational experience relevant to the nominated teaching programs.
- Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high-quality approaches in teaching and assessment, using a variety of learning modes, which respond to diverse student learning needs.
- Demonstrated experience or capacity to develop learning and assessment resources.
- Understanding of current VET policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor).
- Vocational qualification in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Fabrication) applicable to Vocational Education programs.
