Team Leader Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate a team, providing exceptional support and services to clients. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of services and support aligns with our Practice Framework.

About the Role:

This full-time, fixed-term position (12 months) requires leadership and coordination of the team's daily requirements while ensuring the provision of services and support to staff and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, monitor, and review client-specific behaviour intervention and support protocols and plans in conjunction with clinicians and teams.
  • Ensure access to services is barrier-free, and clients are supported to achieve desired outcomes/goals.
  • Receive and action referrals for clients to be placed in the program, consulting with the Manager and Clinician.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a related role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Residential Care or equivalent.
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond to changing work demands.
  • Experience managing a team, including staffing, budget management, reporting, and accountability.
  • Understanding of ongoing effects of injuries, trauma, and/or neglect and abuse.
  • Experience working within a Therapeutic Framework model of care.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation, and resolution skills under pressure.
  • Recent experience in child protection and Residential OOHC Services.
