Senior Waste Management Coordinator

This senior leadership role oversees the operations of waste management centres and rural transfer stations.
The successful candidate will manage a team, ensure environmental and workplace health and safety compliance, and support the safe and efficient delivery of landfill and recycling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise personnel and contractors in daily operations.
- Maintain site infrastructure, including maintenance and repair of landfill equipment.
- Evaluate conditions and implement changes to improve site operations.
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained.
- Supervise staff, delegate tasks, and develop teamwork approaches.
- Perform administrative duties, including purchasing requisitions and timesheet authorisation.
- Assist with project estimates and quotations.
Requirements:
- Civil construction or frontline management qualifications.
- Class C driver's licence.
- General construction induction training card.
- Relevant work experience, including leading and working in teams.
- Solid time management, planning, and computer skills.
