Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development, implementation, and review of behavior intervention and support protocols and plans for clients. You will work closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure that clients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide strong leadership and coordination of team requirements on a day-to-day basis
  • To ensure the provision of services and support to staff and clients, aligning with our organization's Practice Framework
  • To provide case management for clients in the program
  • To manage the team, including staffing, reporting, and accountability

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a related role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Residential Care or a related field
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond and adjust to changes in work demands
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team
  • Understanding of ongoing effects of injuries, trauma, and/or neglect and abuse
  • Experience working within a Therapeutic Framework model of care
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation, and resolution skills, with strong leadership under pressure
  • Recent experience in child protection and Residential OOHC Services
