Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for cost estimation and analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent cost estimates and assurance for new capability investment proposals, ensuring feasibility and affordability. A strong understanding of Defence costing tools such as CCT, ACEIT, or TruePlanning, along with hands-on experience in parametric cost estimation, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cost estimations and assurance for new capability investment proposals.
  • Develop and review Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Utilise advanced costing tools to support project development and capability assessments.
  • Support strategic planning activities by contributing to the evaluation of manufacturing capability gaps and investment options.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Mid-Senior level of expertise and a Full-time employment commitment. Experience in cost estimation within Defence, Security, or Estate sectors is highly desirable.
