We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our cost estimation and assurance practice, you will be responsible for providing leading cost estimation and assurance practices to support regular project development activities, capability assessment, and prioritization activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Develop project cost estimation models and analyse cost risk and uncertainty using endorsed costing tools.
  • Model Review: Review and revise existing manufacturing's cost models as required, including changes in scope or specification.
  • Mentoring: Provide on-going at-work mentoring and training for staff on different costing methods, cost estimation techniques, data maturity assessment, data extraction, and reporting from different types of models.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge on cost estimation and assurance with staff through peer-review of cost estimation models and presentation of results to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis, preferably in the Defence industry.
  • Understanding of Costing Methods: Strong understanding of costing methods, cost estimation techniques, and data maturity assessment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, capability managers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
