Wellways Australia Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health and Alcohol Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing support to program participants, enabling them to address their psychosocial, emotional, and alcohol and other drug support needs.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work in a safe and inclusive environment, underpinned by positivity, hope, and inclusion. You will have the opportunity to work across a 7-day roster, inclusive of public holidays and extended hours of operations, with penalty rates applying for relevant hours worked.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is empathetic, relishes opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our community, and has the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. You will also need:
- Relevant degree and experience or Associate Diploma with substantial experience, in the field of study of, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Community Services and Social Welfare, or less formal qualifications with specialized skills sufficient to perform at this level
