Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Management: Ensure the effective implementation of health and safety management systems to achieve compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the health and safety capabilities of project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage health and safety risks.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of health and safety performance, including incident reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in health and safety performance and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in health and safety management in the construction industry.
- A Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.
- Experience with health and safety software and systems, including risk assessment and incident reporting.
