Job Title: Senior Liaison Officer

The role of the Senior Liaison Officer is to provide specialist advice and consultation for child protection agencies across Victoria and interstate. This position requires a strategic approach to ensure highly responsive support, coordinating complex stakeholder engagement and promoting effective partnerships.

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of various protocols and acts that safeguard children, including the Interstate Child Protection Protocol, the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005, and the 1996 Hague Convention.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding Aboriginal culture and demonstrating knowledge of legislative, policy, and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities.

You will also contribute to strategic planning and reforms at state and national levels, working closely with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
