Job Overview

As a Community Liaison Officer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between schools, communities, and local institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain communication channels between schools, parents, and the local community to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions to engage young people and their families in education, promoting positive relationships and academic success.
  • Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events to raise awareness about educational opportunities and platforms, increasing parent-teacher engagement and school participation.
  • Work closely with school staff to provide professional development on cultural responsiveness and safety, ensuring inclusive practices and policies are implemented.
  • Coordinate access to homework clubs, after-school programs, and mentoring services to support students' academic and personal growth outside of regular school hours.
  • Support school leaders in implementing cultural competency frameworks and other initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion.
