Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Designer to join our organization in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Digital Designer, you will play a key role in the development of engaging, interactive, and accessible e-learning content for our library.

Working closely with Instructional Design, Product Management, and Project Management, you will utilize cutting-edge e-learning tools and structured methodologies to help create high-quality educational content that meets the needs of our diverse user-base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Design: Collaborate to design, develop, and create engaging, interactive, and learner-centric content.
  • E-learning Tools: Utilize e-learning authoring tools to build innovative and accessible courses that prioritize the learner.
  • Multimedia Integration: Design, develop, and integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, motion-graphics, animation, video, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
  • User Experience: Design with the user in mind and develop courses with intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall experience.
  • Process Improvement: Follow established process standards and procedures and contribute to production improvements.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform and implement quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and overall quality of the content before deployment.

Requirements:

  • Digital Design related qualification (Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, Game Design, Coding, or UX/Web Design).
  • Digital Design experience, preferably an e-learning content creator with a portfolio showcasing course development, interactive e-learning projects, and/or multimedia content creation.
  • Proficient knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) and an adept understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are key to success in a cross-functional, multi-time zone, and remote-first team.
