Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Lease Administrator.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance their career in a highly successful organization that invests in its people.

This is a full-time permanent position that involves coordinating all stages of the lease documentation process in support of retail leasing and property management teams.

  • Administer the lease documentation process from instruction to execution, ensuring accuracy and risk compliance at all times.
  • Prepare Disclosure Statements based on approved Letters of Offer and Retail Tenancy Act guidelines.
  • Coordinate reviews of draft documents with Leasing Executives and Property Managers.
  • Request final soft copy documents from Solicitors, print, bind, and coordinate delivery to tenants.
  • Follow up on Lease deposits, bank guarantees, and insurance certificates of currency from new tenants.
  • Liaise with Solicitors on Landgate Registration and SAT approvals.
  • Prepare MRI tenant setup forms & updates and forward them to Assistant Property Managers for review and approval.
  • Manage Powers of Attorney across the company.
  • Manage Certificates of Title for registration purposes.
  • PPSR instructions & maintain register.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in the retail property industry.
  • Exposure to retail leases is advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems with training.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Act.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A high level of attention to detail with the ability to understand and interpret commercial lease documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills, including prioritizing multiple deadlines.
  • Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player, supporting and motivating colleagues when required.
