Job Overview

Origination Manager, Waste to Energy role at a leading renewable energy company.

Lead strategic growth in the emerging Waste to Energy sector and identify new business opportunities across public and private developments.

Forge strategic partnerships to deliver future projects and apply combined business management and process technical knowledge throughout all aspects of waste to energy development.

Build long-term, strategic relationships with key clients and anticipate future client needs through negotiation and stakeholder management.

Manage bid programs and deliverables, establishing best practices for bid program management and mitigating complex bid process challenges.

Develop tools and frameworks to improve bid quality and consistency, guiding leadership on strategic priorities for bids.

Ensure approval workflows are followed accurately and efficiently, incorporating analysis of project commercial models and risks into strategic decisions.

Negotiate consultant agreements and evaluate performance during tenders, identifying commercial risks and undertaking due diligence to develop mitigation strategies.

Maintain and update business strategies to align opportunities with company goals and lead and manage preparations of all tenders for future waste to energy opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  • 10 years' experience in the waste to energy industry with at least 5 years in senior management roles with business development responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of waste-to-energy processes, technologies, and renewable energy.
  • Detailed knowledge of WTE business financials and models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with strong self-management and accountability.
