We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Researcher to join our team at the University of New South Wales. As a Senior Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of Pharmacology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in Pharmacology, with a focus on emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, pharmacogenomics, and personalized medicine.
- Teach and develop curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pharmacology.
- Supervise and mentor students in research projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to develop innovative research and teaching initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of the School of Biomedical Sciences and the Department of Pharmacology.
- PhD in a related discipline (e.g. Pharmacology) and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated track record of research excellence and ability to lead research projects.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a team and build effective relationships.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
- Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
