About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the Department of Pharmacology, with a focus on emerging areas such as cancer systems biology, pharmacogenomics, and personalized medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, a demonstrated ability to work in a team, and a passion for educational innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacology and related fields
- Conduct research in pharmacology, with a focus on emerging areas and their applications
- Supervise and mentor students, including PhD and honours students
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Pharmacology's research and teaching programs
- PhD in a related discipline (e.g. pharmacology)
- Relevant work experience in research and teaching
- Expertise in one of the emerging areas of pharmacology (e.g. cancer systems biology, pharmacogenomics)
- Demonstrated track record of research excellence and teaching effectiveness
