Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader to join our team at Southern NSW Local Health District. As a Clinical Leader, you will provide expert clinical services, clinical governance, and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, ensuring the provision of services is evidence-based and focused on recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical services and support to mental health clinicians
  • Ensure the provision of services is evidence-based and focused on recovery
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and carers to provide person-centered care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers
  • Demonstrated high-level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of contemporary mental health practice
  • Experience in the provision of mental health services, with a minimum of 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience for Registered Nurses
  • Understanding of the concept and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery
  • Ability to communicate effectively and engage with consumers, families, and carers
