Iconic Australian retailer seeks an experienced Area Manager to lead a team of 15 stores in NSW Sth & ACT.

This role will be responsible for maximizing potential across service and sales, driving a customer-first culture while continuing to innovate.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated retail management experience, preferably within multi-site and remote area management. They will have a customer-first mentality, establish and promote a high-service culture within their teams, and be an exceptional people leader with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and drive a culture of exceptional customer service
  • Be innovative, always looking for new and better ways to improve service and sales
  • Act as ambassadors of the brand
  • Build belonging and community spirit within their peers, team members, and customers
  • Translate company goals into relevant working targets and practices for their area
  • Review performance in their area to ensure business success

Requirements:

  • Retail management experience, preferably within multi-site and remote area management
  • Customer-first mentality
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, including mentoring and developing team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
