Reliable Plant Mechanic Wanted for Sydney Water Projects

Randstad is currently seeking a skilled and experienced plant mechanic to join our team on various projects across Sydney Water sites in the Kemp's Creek and Castle Hill areas.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working mechanical fitter with relevant trade certification to install and maintain plant equipment, conduct various mechanical works on manufactured parts and sub-assemblies, and perform fault finding and preventive maintenance.
**Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain plant equipment, including pipework and structural/mechanical piping.
- Conduct various mechanical works on manufactured parts and sub-assemblies, ensuring all equipment meets industry standards.
- Perform fault finding and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assemble spooling, mechanical instruments, and valves to regulation standards.
- Conduct safety and quality assurance checks to ensure all equipment and completed works meet industry standards.
**Requirements:**
- Relevant Mechanical trade certification (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade).
- Fork Lift, Dogging, Confined Space, Working at Heights certifications highly regarded.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter who can handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Must pass a medical and provide a National Police Clearance.
- Full Australian working rights and current Manual Driver's License.

**Estimated Salary Range:** Based on experience and qualifications, we estimate the annual salary range to be around $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on individual factors such as location, certifications, and performance.
