About Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure

We are a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. Our expertise spans the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors. We design and deliver projects that include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation.

Castle Hill Water Resource Recovery Facility Compliance Project

Abergeldie is working with Sydney Water to deliver this project. The upgrade is part of a larger initiative to connect three treatment plants in Sydney's North-West, forming the new North West Treatment Hub. This hub will create a more efficient, integrated wastewater system to support growth in the area and help keep local waterways clean.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our Water Infrastructure team based in Castle Hill. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring contractual compliance with the project team.
  • Maintaining standards for documentation within the Abergeldie data management system.
  • Coordinating vendor documentation, drawings, transmittals, and engineering deliverables.
  • Maintaining company standards for quality assurance purposes.
  • Controlling the distribution of drawings and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring document control activities are compliant with Abergeldie's policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Providing guidance and advice to project teams and other stakeholders on document control processes and compliance, as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience working as a Document Controller within the civil construction or related industries on large complex projects.
  • Prior experience with using IN8 or TeamBinder.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient and demonstrated skills in the MS Office suite.
