Electrical Tradesperson Role Overview

This is a specialized position that involves working with electrical and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. The primary focus of this role is on maintenance, installation, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment throughout hospital facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess trade qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning, along with extensive experience in a building services maintenance environment. Additionally, the candidate should have a current BSC Licence for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration including CFC Accreditation or be willing to obtain within specified timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
  • Installation of new equipment as required
  • Carrying out tasks in a safe and professional manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Refrigeration / Air Conditioning trade qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a building services maintenance environment
  • Current BSC Licence for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration including CFC Accreditation
  • Experience in the operation of planned maintenance programs
