As an experienced Executive Sous or Head Chef, you will showcase your creative skills and successfully drive the day-to-day operations of a busy kitchen environment.

We are seeking a qualified Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Darwin Airport facility on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menu planning and specification management for Airline partners.
  • Oversee daily and weekly planning of food preparation, shift allocation, and rostering to ensure high-quality output.
  • Mentor and develop employees across various levels to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality food presentation in line with customer specifications and company policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Trade-qualified (Cert III) with experience as Senior Sous or higher.
  • Previous exposure to large or bulk catering facilities in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Desirable: Airline Catering experience, Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles, ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of HACCP / Food Safety /WHS and QA principles.
