Transaction Monitoring Professional

Job Description

As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will be responsible for leading the Transaction Monitoring function. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and develop effective monitoring strategies.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work on designing and implementing transaction monitoring rules, investigating alerts, and escalating suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

You will also be responsible for providing training and support to other team members, as well as mentoring junior staff in transaction monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • AML/CTF Expertise: Minimum 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years specializing in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF)
  • Data Analysis: Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Python, or other data analysis tools
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify complex transactions and separate legitimate from non-legitimate activities
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization, including customers, regulators, business partners, operations, executive, and the board
