Job Role Summary

Transaction Monitoring Expertise

This role focuses on maintaining the effectiveness of a global Transaction Monitoring Program, working closely with Operations and Financial Crime Compliance teams to achieve this goal.

You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining automated Transaction Monitoring detection capabilities.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance financial crime detection capabilities, ensuring existing and emerging risks are effectively mitigated.
  • Collaborating with risk functions to review and assess alerts, providing input for training as needed.

Necessary skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Transaction Monitoring related roles within banking, consultancy, legal or government sectors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AML/CTF legislation, including key challenges, risks, trends and regulatory environment.
  • Strong operational expertise and ability to develop solid processes and controls.
  • Commercial acumen and experience dealing with senior business stakeholders.
  • Data analytics technical skills like SQL, SAS and intermediate Excel analytics (desirable).
