**Transaction Monitoring Analyst **to join their growing team.

**About role**:
As part of this busy team, attention to detail is crucial. You will be responsible to monitor and action alerts generated by the bank's unique detection and monitoring systems. This will involve performing risk-based activities and investigations which include analysing customer and transaction activity, conducting background research, and appropriate action recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth transaction investigations to manage and clear unusual activity
- Collate, review and analyse transactions and write reports on your findings _(following a 6-step process)_
- Make risk based decisions on transactions adhering to legislation and internal policies
- Document and report your findings for further investigation and reporting to authorities
- **Minimum of 6 months **experience in **Transaction Monitoring or AML/CTF**:

- Excellent written and verbal **communication skills**:

- Strong **analytical mindset** and **attention to detail**:

- Ability to **manage priorities** and **plan own work** effectively and efficiently

**Things to consider**:

- This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend
- $350-$400 per day + super (pending experience)
- Sydney CBD - 2x days in the office / 3x days from home
