Job Title: Community Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Community Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide support and care to children in our community, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transport children to appointments, school or other locations.
  • Provide in-home support to children, carers and families.
  • Supervise access visits with significant others.
  • Mentor and support children in achieving set goals.
  • Complete written reports on interactions between children and their family members.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Welfare) or related field.
  • Working With Children's Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Unrestricted drivers licence.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Mobile phone for internet access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • Fluency in a second language.
