Role Overview:">

We are seeking a Community Support Specialist to provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in the community.

As a Community Support Specialist, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and domestic tasks. You will also plan and accompany clients on outings and activities, perform duties such as manual handling, high-care support, and challenging behaviors, and work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).

Requirements:

  • Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with manual handling, high-care support, and challenging behaviors.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or as an Assistant in Nursing.
  • Initiative to support clients in achieving their goals and building community connections.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain, if required).
