Job Overview

We seek a skilled Mechanical Technician to work in Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Adhere to high standards of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct risk assessments, update work history, and perform maintenance tasks using SAP software.
  • Carry out complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on infrastructure equipment.
  • Work from technical drawings and record modifications.
  • Identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing new initiatives.
  • Provide input into root cause investigations and help resolve equipment reliability issues.
About You
  • A recognized Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner/Machinist or Hydraulics, or Heavy Duty Fitter).
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems is essential.
  • Certificate III in Mines Rescue is desirable, with upskilling available.
  • Aerodrome Reporting Officer certification is also desirable.
  • A valid Australian C class driver's license is required.
  • Basic computer literacy with SAP experience is advantageous.
  • EOHS/Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, Dogging certificates are desirable.
