Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Experienced electrical maintenance specialists are required to perform scheduled shutdown work on large-scale excavators and drills across various mine sites in Western Australia. The role involves conducting diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems of heavy mining equipment.

  • The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications as an Auto Electrician and extensive experience working on large mobile mining equipment.
  • A strong ability to use diagnostic tools and software is essential for identifying issues and resolving complex electrical faults.

This is a field-based position requiring autonomous work management, including setting up and maintaining tooling requirements.

About the Role:

  • Trade qualified Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years' experience working on large mobile mining equipment, preferably with Liebherr and Epiroc brands.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical faults.
  • Previous experience in field service roles is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems of heavy mining equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to achieve efficient shutdown works.
  • Identify and resolve complex electrical faults using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Manage on-site set-up and tooling requirements autonomously.
