Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive the advancement of our Enterprise Batch Services.


This role requires extensive experience in managing Workload Automation tools in a large corporate environment, with a proven ability to provide expert technical leadership and support for complex issues.


The successful candidate will have Senior level experience with Control-M and ESP Workload Automation, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.



Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain technical solutions for batch processing, aligning with strategic roadmap objectives
  • Provide expert-level support for major incidents impacting batch tool availability
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement optimal batch flow solutions
  • Lead the migration of scheduling tools to new infrastructure and convert schedules to Westpac's strategic scheduling tool

Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of IT industry experience in a highly technical role related to Batch operations
  • Extensive experience in supporting and maintaining Control-M
  • Senior level experience in supporting and maintaining ESP Workload Automation
  • Strong understanding of Batch Operations, Batch Scheduling, and both mainframe and midrange hosting environments
