Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of automation control strategies on-site, working collaboratively with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations and optimize production efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects using automation to enhance production capability and reliability
  • Assist with the implementation of PLC/HMI/SCADA/MES projects or help define scopes of work for external contractors
  • Support the design, implementation, and validation of software changes for automated plant processes
  • Help develop technical documentation for system design, specifications, reports, change management, testing, and commissioning
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exposure to automation or process engineering is beneficial but not essential
  • Interest in PLC and SCADA programming, HMI, and MES development and configuration; experience with Rockwell, Proficy iFIX, or Ignition is a plus
  • Willingness to learn S88 Batch principles; familiarity with Zi-Batch is a bonus
  • A passion for process improvement and a desire to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams
