Business Continuity Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Continuity Lead to join our Risk and Advocacy function. This senior opportunity offers the chance to shape and strengthen resilience practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business continuity frameworks, policies, and tools that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish clear resilience requirements and oversee Critical Operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide Second Line advice, assurance, and regulatory alignment to support the development of robust risk management strategies.
  • Drive training, awareness, and a strong resilience culture within the organization.
  • Lead crisis/incident response and embed lessons learned to inform future improvements.
  • Report to senior management and mentor team members to promote professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as business, law, finance, or IT would be highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years' experience in operational risk and/or operational resilience roles within a financial services environment.
  • A strong understanding of Insurance Operations is essential for this position.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk and control frameworks is necessary for effective decision-making.
  • Experience with prudential regulatory frameworks, specifically CPS 230, is required for this role.
  • Proven experience in dealing with senior management is crucial for successful collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
