Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, promoting their overall well-being and recovery journey.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and services, facilitating their integration into society.
- Monitor and report on client progress and behavior, contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs, enhancing skills and knowledge in mental health support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Previous experience working in a mental health support role, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
- At least one of the following certifications: MAYBO, TCI, or CPI, or Certification in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, with a current working with children check and National Police Check.
