**About the Role**
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Professional to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide drought and remote wellness services to regional patients, utilizing your exceptional personal drive and comprehensive counselling skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-quality mental health services to patients in rural and remote areas, including drought-affected communities.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Conduct assessments, provide therapy, and offer support to patients and their families.
- Participate in education and engagement services to build community capacity and promote mental health and wellbeing.
**Requirements**
- Registration with AHPRA or membership of the AASW.
- Qualification in Psychology, Social Work (Accredited with AASW), Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing (Suitable for Mental Health credentialing).
- Post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical field.
- Demonstrated experience in brief interventions, and therapeutic counselling with patients across the lifespan.
- Demonstrated experience and respectful understanding of cultural diversity, including traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander views of health and wellness.
- Working with Children- Blue Card (Social Workers Only).

- Attractive remuneration up to $116K (depending on seniority) + Super.
