Job Title: Electrical Network Trade Assistant - Stanthorpe

This permanent opportunity is available in Stanthorpe, where you will be part of a team that constructs, maintains, and operates our overhead and underground electrical networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespersons with the construction, maintenance, and associated activities on our electrical networks.
  • Develop good working relationships with team members and external customers by possessing well-developed interpersonal communication skills.
  • Identify and understand customer needs and provide solutions accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Critical skills include manual 'C' class open driver license, availability for call out and emergency work, willingness to travel to surrounding areas, experience in safety observing, and ability to actively identify and implement risk control measures.
  • Possess current computer skills, including proficiency in using iPads and iPhones.
  • Ability to safely work at heights.
  • High Risk Work Licence (forklift, dogman, rigger, EWP > 11m, VLC), Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, or C2 Slewing Mobile Crane up to 20t are desirable qualifications.

  • Remuneration: from $96,484 up to $103,469 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + location incentives.
  • Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $3,000 per annum.
  • Housing Allowance – up to $7,020 per annum.
  • Locality Allowance – up to $683 per annum.
  • Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $5,000 after 2 years and $5,000 at each milestone (5, 10, 15, 20 years).
