Senior Electrical Network Assistant

About the Role:
As a Power Worker (Trade Assistant) with Ergon Energy Network, you will play a key role in assisting our tradespersons with the construction, maintenance, and associated activities on our overhead and underground electrical networks. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of safe and reliable electricity services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist tradespersons with the construction, maintenance, and associated activities on our overhead and underground electrical networks.
Identify and understand customer needs and develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
The position requires the ability to work safely at heights and use computers, iPads, and iPhones efficiently.
What's On Offer:
Remuneration – $96,484 up to $103,469 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + location incentives below.
Location Incentives:
Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $3,000 per annum.
Housing Allowance – up to $7,020 per annum.
Locality Allowance – up to $683 per annum.
Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments – $5,000 after 2 years and $5,000 at each milestone (5, 10, 15, 20 years).

About You:
Critical to your success in the role, is your -
Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
Current manual 'C' class open driver licence.
Availability for call out and emergency work as well as work overtime as required.
Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
Experience in safety observing and an ability to actively identify and implement risk control measures where needed.
Ability to use Computers, iPads, and iPhones.
Ability to safely work at heights.
Desirable:
Current High Risk Work Licence (forklift, dogman, rigger, EWP > 11m, VLC) or the ability to obtain these qualifications.
Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence or the ability to obtain one prior to commencing.
Current C2 Slewing Mobile Crane up to 20t or the ability to obtain these qualifications.
