
Veterans Claims Advocate

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Sydney.
This key role involves working directly with Veterans, assisting with their DVA claims and advocating for their benefits.
The position is based in St Leonards and requires 5 days of work per week. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the lives of veterans and their families through their work and delivery of a professional service.
- Liaise with external stakeholders and agencies associated with DVA.
- Participate in work groups to achieve organisational objectives and outcomes for veterans and their families.
- Deliver work outcomes associated with claims for compensation and entitlements from DVA.
Key requirements include:
- A sound understanding of Defence, ESO and Veteran culture/landscape.
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
- Ability to establish meaningful relationships internally and externally.
