Role Description

We are seeking a professional to join our Claims and Advocacy team in a part-time capacity. This role involves submitting claims on behalf of clients and representing them at the Veterans' Review Board.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and flexibility in all actions.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders, services, and agencies associated with defence entitlements.
  • Participate in projects aligned with strategic plans and adapt to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claim preparation and submission.
  • Representation at the Veterans' Review Board.
  • Establishing meaningful relationships internally and externally.
  • Prioritising, managing, and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Compensation Advocate Level 3 certification or be working towards it.
  • Have a working knowledge of defence entitlements under relevant legislation and Veteran's Review Board policies.
  • Complete relevant courses or have a willingness to do so.
  • Understand defence-related illnesses and conditions.
