Job Summary

The City of Kwinana is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to oversee the coordination and delivery of quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups at the Kwinana Recquatic.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance program delivery, customer experience, and team performance.
  • Lead a high-performing team in creating a customer-centric environment, building strong relationships with community members, and driving continuous improvement.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage tasks and team performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Experience promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way that drives growth.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Relevant certifications, such as First Aid, Police Clearance, and Driver's Licence.
