Sports and Programs Team Leader

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to coordinate and deliver high-quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups.

You will lead the Sports and Programs Team in creating a customer-centric environment, building strong relationships with community members and driving continuous improvement to service delivery.

The successful incumbent will closely monitor, respond to and report on program and business development objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A comprehensive understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities by inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both your own tasks, and that of your team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Experience promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way that drives growth.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience.
  • A current First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance, and Driver's Licence.
